Beverley Ulrich considers her life path to be her greatest teacher. It has enabled her to infuse her work with myriad images, colors, and symbols that few are fortunate enough to encounter.
From an early life in Sydney, she carries the strongly Australian characteristics of being a free-thinking world traveler. Having lived and traveled all over Spain, Portugal, Greece, and parts of the U.S. — including Hawaii, Virginia, and Florida — she quickly absorbed these varied cultural experiences.
Beverley usually paints in oils, her favored medium, using a variety of styles and texture to bring forth her subjects. She believes that art depends upon the artist's passion for the subject matter and the ability to effectively express that feeling in raw emotion caught on canvas. Her core belief is that the life of a painting is never finished; it just moves on to more interesting place.
Beverley is a member of the Oil Painters of America.
