The Metropolitan Richmond Artists Association Exhibition (MRAA)

MRAA is a not-for-profit professional association of juried artists offering group sponsored workshops, programs, and art exhibitions of contemporary fine art throughout Richmond, Virginia. With its roots in Richmond Professional Institute (now Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of the Arts), MRAA welcomes application for membership from all artists and art enthusiasts. Dues are $40 annually, and activities and art demonstrations of high quality take place the second Saturday of the month, September through May, at 10:00 a.m. at Crossroads Art Center.

About Adele Castillo

Adele Castillo is an acrylic painter and art instructor who lives in central Virginia. She is most recognized for her colorful paintings of dogs, but is also known in the region for her knowledge and use of acrylics.
