With 25 years in advertising
and design, my experience includes sizing and color correcting images for
high-end output in magazines and corporate brochures. If you are having
difficulties converting your art into digital images, either for personal
files, or as an entry to an art show, consider my service to make your life
easier.
The following covers the
service I offer.
Christopher provides the
following all-inclusive services:
• Personally
photograph your artwork (Artwork can be mounted but NOT under glass or plex) at 7.1 Megapixels at
various exposures
• Download
your file into the computer and proceed to crop, fix parallax issues, correct
tonal and color balance in
RGB, and provide a Master 300 ppi High-Resolution
jpeg or TIFF file on a CD
• Include a secondary downsized 72ppi
Low-Resolution file for the web or for emailing on the
same disk
• Include
a color printout on high-gloss photographic paper (approximately 6” x “4”) for
approximate color proofing or
archiving
• If
needed, provide a resized file on the same disk (per your instructions or that
of an Art Show Prospectus,
for instance), to exact pixel dimensions and resolution requirements
• If
needed, additional back-up CDs
A couple of times a month (or
more if necessary) I will arrange to either pick-up,
or photograph on site, your original art. Within a normal turnaround of
generally one week, I’ll supply you a finished CD with all your images printed
right on the CD label, a personalized CD Case, and a photographic, high-gloss
color printout
of each image. From one to 20 (or more)
individual images, you decide. I can also accommodate overnight rush jobs at
50% higher fees.
All the above at an introductory rate of $35.00 per initial image/painting. Additional images on same CD, same job order, for $8.00 apiece. Computer training at your home is also available and billed at $50.00 an hour.
