Jan Delsack began her artistic journey began growing up in New Orleans. It continued while living in New England for many years and continues to this day in Richmond, Virginia. She has explored painting with watercolors, oils, and oil pastels through numerous classes and workshops with professional and local artists. She also studied fine art in college.
Jan's inspiration comes from taking her own photographs of still lifes, landscapes, and flowers in her garden. She wants the viewer to see the light dance throughout her paintings. Her great joy is the process of exploring different mediums, new techniques, and trying to perfect color and design.
She has won many awards, and her past and present affiliations include the Rhode Island Watercolor Society, Attleboro Museum, Foxboro Art Association, Bon Air Artist Association, and Crossroads Art Center.
