Linda Mason Hall was born and raised in Richmond. She lived and worked in Munich, Germany, for three years while attending the University of Maryland, Munich Campus. After returning to the U.S., she attended the University of Maryland, College Park. She then which she moved to Athens, Georgia, and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia. For the next 10 years, Linda lived in Asheville, North Carolina,where her two children were born. She then moved with her family to near Nashville, Tennessee, and she completed her doctorate at Vanderbilt University. The next ten years were spent in Wilmington, Delaware, where Linda began her work in glass with classes at the Delaware Art Museum.
Linda and her husband moved back to Richmond where she continued her practice in glass fusing and casting at the Visual Arts Center. She now lives in Greer, South Carolin, where she has set up her studio and continues to work with various techniques and materials creating glass art.
