Lori Wilson is an award-winning watercolorist specializing in contemporary realism. She delights in entertaining the viewer with a story, a mood, or emotion — or a combination of all three. Her paintings convey a sense a drama through strong design principles exaggerated by value and rich saturated color.
She exhibits her paintings at Seaworthy Gallery in Hatteras, North Carolina, where she was selected to be the first featured artist in conjunction with its grand opening, and at Crossroads Art Center, where she has been the recipient of numerous awards. Her work can also be found in various corporate galleries in Richmond and in the permanent collection of the engineering firm M.E. Design in Cheshire, Connecticut, as well as in private residences throughout the United States and Africa.
Her professional affiliations include memberships in the Virginia Watercolor Society, the Transparent Watercolor Society, Virginia Plein Air Painters, and the Bon Air Artists Association.
