Eddie R. Hoel Artist Retrospective
Eddie R. Hoel of Richmond, VA passed away on January 6, 2024. Ed was born on February 18, 1943 to Christine and Edward Loftin in Hohenwald, Tennessee. Christine later married Roy Hoel and Eddie was adopted and grew up in Charleston, West Virginia, attending Stonewall Jackson High School. All through Ed’s personal and professional life he was a creative artist working in copper.
Ed is survived by his three children: Burney Hoel (wife Katie Hoel), Emily Hoel, and Nora Hoel all of Richmond. He has one grandson, William. Ed is also survived by five siblings: Douglas, Brenda, Martha, Patricia, Robert and their families.
