Artist's Statement:

Bart Levy believes it is the job an artist to portray the heart of the landscape in a way that calls to the heart of a viewer, whether the landscape is literal or abstract. The essence becomes visible.

She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University and worked as a graphic designer and marketer before returning full time to painting. She has been in juried exhibitions throughout Virginia and North Carolina.
