Capturing the mood of a particular geography at different times of the year allows me the pleasure of recalling special memories and emotions of the location. The southern section of the Outer Banks of NC is such a place for me.

Artist's Statement:

With a focus on photography and mixed-media printmaking, I have directed my most recent works toward combining the two disciplines. In addition to traditional fine art photography, I began exploring and further developing a print-making technique I refer to as Progressive Frame Imaging (PFI). In its simplest definition, PFI is a multi-layer, ink-over-ink print making process not dissimilar to that of lithography, wood block or silk-screen printing. With Progressive Frame Imaging, digital printers replace the ink transfer mediums of stone, wood or screen.
