The layers of the Blue Ridge mountains will forever be my muse, especially at dusk. The purples, yellows, and oranges mesmerize me and keep me wide-eyed every time I visit. The world stops just for a moment.

Artist's Statement:

Real and imagined, my landscapes embody our emotional connection to a place. I don’t always know a piece’s story, but maybe someone else does. Maybe the colors and lines trigger a memory of an experience. That’s what I’m going for - how does a piece make me feel? How might someone else respond to it? Might there be an emotional reaction? I sure hope so.
