My oil painting “Misty Morning “ was inspired by my early morning walks along the James River at Robious Landing. I try to get to the river early so I might capture the morning mist which will hover briefly before it burns off.  This was painted from my photo . Whenever possible I try to capture atmospheric moments in my paintings of landscapes.
