I am a walkabout photographer. This scene caught my eye, so I photographed it.

Artist's Statement:

In my photography, I use digital cameras. I shoot exclusively in color, although afterward I often convert images to black-and-white.

Many of the results look like what you might expect a photograph to look like., comprising, as they do, an inventory of objects that I have pointed the camera lens at. However, many appear almost un-photographic. Indeed, it is often difficult to imagine that the final image actually starts out as a picture of something at all recognizable—as it does before I begin to experiment with it in digital post-production.
