On our morning walk we discovered nature at work particularly fungi! Multiple varieties feasting on the dead log.

Artist's Statement:

I have always been drawn to creating and visualizing art, whether it be drawing, painting or photography. I never studied art in high school or college, mainly just took small art project classes here and there. Now I am over 60 and am getting back in touch with my creative inner self. For the last 3 years I have had the great opportunity to advance my dormant skills under the tutelage of Adelle Castillo class here at Crossroads. I am a detailed oriented painter, its just my nature to mimic what my eye sees and let the work unfold from there. I recently have also started doing water colors and graphite drawings where I hope to expand my palette and detail oriented skills.
