Opening in 2016, the T. Tyler Potterfield Bridge allows a 360° view of the City of Richmond and the James River from almost river level. Numerous, iconic Richmond landmarks and vistas can be photographed, painted, and enjoyed from this location. “East View from Potterfield Bridge, Richmond” is a 48” x 36”, oil on canvas painting depicting one of the countless views from this structure. I’m particularly fond of this perspective which contains both modern and historic elements.
