I chose to make a simple arch for this McDonald's painting. The golden arches make me feel invited to have a yummy meal. I chose to start off with french fries as one layer. And added splotches to represent the condiments that are used with your meal. I made this painting a few months ago.

Artist Statement:

My name is Nancy A. F. Price. I paint different kinds of art paintings. Right now I have been in an abstract mood. I paint in both acrylics and oils. Sometimes I will layer with spray paint. I utilize different medias to add a little spark to the creations; which can be from colored pencils to paint pens. Sometimes I corroborate fabrics and paper mediums.

I inspire to be an abstract artist now in my later age. Sometimes go back to realistic but not to often. I work with the supplies I have on hand in most cases. I have my art for therapy reasons for depression too, not just for art's sake. Iguess you could say not too many people understand my abstract ideas.

A lot of times I do not finish my paintings and go back to them at later times.

I also was influenced by Jackson Pollack's work for the piece.

I really hope this painting helps. I am not a member yet but hope to be soon. Thank you for holding these shows each month.
