This full-color, limited-print book features exquisite full-page photos of 22 of the artist’s on-site unique screenprints of Notre-Dame Cathedral that she created during residencies in Paris in 2017, 2018, and 2019. The book also includes photos of the artist at work in her Paris studio alongside international colleagues at exhibitions of these works in Paris and in the United States. JC Gilmore-Bryan is a screenprint artist and longtime art instructor at Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of the Arts, the Visual Arts Center of Richmond, Virginia State University, and elsewhere. Her works have been exhibited in solo exhibitions locally at such venues as the Anderson Gallery and 1708 Gallery, and internationally including at Bulgaria’s National Academy of Art and Applied Arts and the Cite Internationale des Arts in Paris. Her formal art education includes an undergraduate degree from MTSU and graduate degrees from Vanderbilt and Columbia.
