Inspired by the 70s movement of velvet paintings with bright colors. A moody blue seedling is getting its groove on.

Artist Statement:

I have a teenage son, and I need an outlet.  Creativity has always been my therapy.  From taking art classes in high school to special effects make-up in college, artistry inspires me to be more of who I am.  Currently in my oil pastels era, I'm infusing techniques of smudging with bold hardlines  and elongated forms, bringing forth cubism with vibrant hues and moody colors that express social vibes and environmental trends.
