Artist Statement:

As a native Mainer who grew up hiking the Appalachian Trail to MT Katahdin, skiing the slopes of Maine and Vermont, and almost always outdoors regardless of the season or the weather, I draw my painting inspiration from Nature’s beauty.  Painting in oils, my favorite subjects are rocky shorelines, lakes, hills, and fields.  I have studied under experienced and successful artists in Chicago and Richmond, to include at Crossroads Art Center and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
