Artist's Statement:
Art is my unwavering passion, serving as my religion and personal salvation. It is my means of survival and coping, with each brushstroke capturing the essence of my emotions and experiences. While many perceive my works as "surreal," they are true reflections of my personal
"reality," serving as profound expressions and interpretations of my life and the world around me. I believe that art holds the power to resonate within each individual viewer, evoking a unique connection to their own soul, life, and experiences.
As an artist curator and organizer, my objective is to preserve the essence of creativity and the traditional skills behind the arts while fostering an environment where art can serve as a healing and calming force. In 2008, I founded "The Urban Individualists," a collective in the Bronx, NY, composed of musicians, visual artists, writers, dancers, and more. Our mission is to inspire and motivate others to continue creating, especially in a world where technology threatens to
overshadow the arts.
Despite my health challenges and numerous responsibilities, I am committed to organizing exhibits and events that keep the arts alive. I ask for nothing in return except the dedication and passion of those who join me in this journey. Through these efforts, I aim to ensure that creativity continues to thrive and that artists, despite the obstacles they face, have opportunities to showcase their work and connect with others on a deeper level. Each of my artworks holds countless narratives, and I am eager to see how they intertwine with the stories of those who experience them
