I am a multi-media artist; my work develops intuitively. Natural dying and printing techniques spark my imagination. This art quilt was printed using the heat of the sun. A story developed as a face came to life amongst the leaves, in these turbulent times a butterfly kiss is a magical moment.

Artist's Statement:

My passion for art develops intuitively as I manipulate colors and surfaces. Portraits are vital images throughout my work each one is combined with a thought-provoking message or imagery that speaks for itself. My love of textiles finds its way into my work as I experiment with various surface-design techniques including natural dye methods and printing. Art quilts as well as individual watercolor mixed media paintings are the end result of my artistic play. My hope is that my work will bring a variety of discussions. There are so many ways we can make a difference; my quotes began as a vehicle to help me navigate through these muddy waters. However, as I share my work, I realize the impact they can have on others.
