Janine Orr
Janine Orr is a full-time artist living in Richmond, Virginia. An avid hiker, she uses oils and a limited palette to capture the beauty and light she sees in the outdoors. Janine's favorite subjects include the James River and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Her paintings of landscapes and florals are prized by collectors throughout the Mid-Atlantic.
Janine trained as an illustrator and enjoyed a long career as a magazine art director, but decided to return to painting 10 years ago. “My artistic abilities served me well during my commercial publishing career, but the only artistic tool I was using was a Mac! So I picked up my brushes again and began a new artistic journey.” She embraces her art journey as a never-ending learning experience filled with experimentation and growth.
