While listening to a jazz playlist in February, I felt the urge to create a jazz collection with famous black jazz greats. It turned into jazz greats.

Artist Statement:

I'm a Richmond based artist primarily focused on abstraction. I believe the dialogue between the artist and the canvas is best described by the viewer.  I take to any piece with a sense of exploration and instinct. The colors, subject and composition are all at the whim of the canvas. The outcome and what is seen is purely for the viewer to decide. I enjoy hearing the thoughts, ideas and feelings of those that see my work. It's a way to connect us all in a shared consciousness.
